OBITUARY Ella Bult May 7, 1923 – September 13, 2018 Ella “Maw” Bult, age 95, of Lake Charles, Louisiana went to her Eternal Home peacefully on Thursday, September 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family and friends. Ella was born on May 7, 1923 growing up in Hayes, La. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H Bult, daughter, Elizabeth Jean Butts, sisters, Evelyn Amy, Eva Granger, and Rose Derouen, and a brother, Duffy Moore.

Those left behind to cherish her memories are son, Gerald H Bult and wife, Patsy, son, Mitchell L. Bult, son-in-law, Conrad Butts, adopted son, Robert Young, four grandchildren, Randy Bult and wife, Kristi, Tammy Murchison and husband, Danny, Chris Butts and wife, Christy, and Douglas Butts; six great-grandchildren & three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2018 at Hixson Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Lake Charles.

Visitation will be held from 12-2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Ella’s family would like to say a special thank you to her loving and attentive caregivers, Tina “Cornbread” Brady, Wanda “Sunshine” Owens, Trish “Momma” White, and the staff of Christus Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to M.D. Anderson or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Mrs. Ella and her daughter, Elizabeth.
