Ella Mae’s Obituary Ella Mae Morgan Vann was born to Staten and Lizzie Rhoden Morgan on December 12, 1929 in Suwannee County, FL , she went to Heaven on February 5, 2019 at the age of 89. She grew up in Wellborn, Fl across the road from Mt. Beulah Baptist Church.

She graduated from Wellborn School in 1948. On May 29, 1949 she married W.R. “Billy” Vann of McAlpin ,FL. Together they farmed and worked for the Suwannee County School Board driving a school bus and later became the secretary at the bus garage where she retired.

She is survived by sisters: Iris Stansel, Maxine Wiggins, Faye DuCoeur and Jewell Gray. By her daughters: E. Dianne Herring and Doyle and Derenda Vann Shepherd and Jimmy. Grandchildren Sheri Barnes, Wynette Sumner, Marshall Herring and Ashley Shepherd Lundy.

She is survived by 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren. And her special niece Ellizabeth Morgan Oxendine. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Pafford Morgan, Malford Morgan and Denward Morgan.

By her sisters Gladys Morgan, Grace Silas. Her husband Billy and her grandson Joshua Morgan Shepherd. Services will be held Friday, February 8th at 11 am at Mt.

Beulah Baptist Church in Wellborn. A visitation will be held at 10 am at the church. Interment will be at Mt.

Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery in McAlpin.
