Ellawean Miller Wilson, 90, of Haines City passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale, FL. She was born July 30, 1928 in Lebanon, VA to Burke M. and Lelier (Yates) Miller. Ellawean has resided in Florida for over 70 years and was a member of Church On The Hill in Dundee, FL.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, James Paul Joiner; sisters, Evangeline Belcher, Erlene Price, Kathleen Sands, and Kledith Miller; brothers, Dallas, Donald, Balfred, and Garland. Ellawean is survived by her husband, Virgil O. Wilson; four stepchildren; two grandchildren, Jimmy Joiner and Ellawean Joiner Vaughn; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren; two sisters, Jewel Miller, Sue Nash and husband, Wayne; sister-in-law, Betty Miller; and several nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 15, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. all at Church On The Hill, 1111 Scenic Hwy, Dundee, FL 33838, with Pastor Tim Bullington, officiating.

Final Resting Place will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Haines City, FL. A reception will follow immediately after the service at the church. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Ellawean Miller Wilson please visit our Sympathy Store.
