Funeral for Elvie D. Collins, 92, of Falkville will be Tuesday July 10, 2018 at 11:00AM at Lebanon Baptist Church with Bro. Rodger Collins and Bro. Randy Ashley officiating with burial in the Lebanon Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing.

The body will be at the church one hour prior to service. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00-8:00 at the funeral home. Mrs. Collins was born October 30, 1925 in Morgan County to Herbert Lee Shaneyfelt and Annie Lee Wright Shaneyfelt.

She passed away Thursday July 5, 2018 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was a life long member of Lebanon Baptist church and retired from Summerford Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 Brothers, Cline D. Shaneyfelt, Carl Lee Shaneyfelt, and Lester W. Shaneyfelt.

1 Sister, Ruth Livingston. Survivors include: 3 Sons: Rodger Collins (Pam) of Gadsden, AL Donald Collins (Heather) of Decatur, AL Ron Collins of Birmingham, AL Daughter: Linda Chesser (Ivan) of Mullin, TX Brother: Harold Shaneyfelt of Hartselle Sister: Francis Burden of Hartselle 6 Grandchildren 8 Great-Grandchildren 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Family and Friends The family would like to express their Gratitude to Mr. Robert Summerford and the staff at Summerford Nursing Home for the excellent care of our sweet Momma for the last eight years.
