Emma Catherine Conn, age 88, of Douglasville, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born on November 24, 1930, in Atlanta, GA, to the late John & Florence Thomason, and was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Conn, SR; son, Jack Conn, JR; granddaughter, Rebecca Portwood Munter; and brothers, Billy Thomason, John Thomason and James Thomason, son-in-law, Tony Portwood. Mrs. Conn was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She loved to cook, enjoyed walking and watching the school buses come by her house. Mrs. Conn loved going to Walmart every Saturday morning. Survivors include son, Mike & Melissa Conn of Douglasville, GA; daughters, Louann Portwood of Powder Springs, GA, and Linda Black & Randy Thomas of Rockmart, GA; six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019, at 11 AM, from Clark Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mount Olivet Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, February 23, 2019, 10 AM until 11 AM.
