Erhard Warkus, age 93, of Westlake, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. He was born November 5, 1925 in Germany, son of the late Walter and Berta Warkus. He loved listening to classical and opera music.

He was on a bowling league with the Donauschwaben German Club that he was a proud member of. He always received the National Geographic and enjoyed reading about all the different places. He often spent time writing in his journal.

He will be dearly missed by all. Devoted husband of 59 years to the late Anna Warkus (nee Stampfer); cherished father of Linda Long, Irene (Scott) Kelly, Walter Warkus, the late Frank Warkus and Theresa (Rusty) Guerry; beloved grandfather of Joseph, Connor, Christopher, Brenna, Billy, Sarah, and Callan; loving great grandfather of Morgan, Brianna, Hunter, and Abbey; dearest brother of Sigrid. Visitation will take place on Monday, March 25, 2019 from 10AM – 12PM in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd.

, North Olmsted, OH 44070 where funeral service will commence at 12NOON. Interment immediately following in Sunset Memorial Park.
