John F. Gelatka, age 74, of Olmsted Twp. , passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. He was born February 6, 1945 in Cleveland, son of the late John and Zita Gelatka.

John was very active in the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah’s Witnesses. He was an avid hiker and loved doing anything outdoors. He played the guitar and had his own band.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Devoted husband of Ruth; cherished father of John (Beth) Gelatka; beloved grandfather of Kailie, Jason, and Shane Gelatka; loving brother of Zita and the late Timothy. Visitation will take place Friday, March 15, 2019 in the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd.

, North Olmsted, OH 44070. Private interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park.
