Louis (Lou) Abdul Karman of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania November 13, 1929 – May 27, 2019. We mourn the loss and celebrate the life of Louis. Our beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather.

Louis was a graduate of West Tech HS and Fenn College of Engineering both in Cleveland, Ohio. Louis served in the Ohio National Guard from 1948-1954. Louis had a wonderful career at Hercules, INC as a Chemical Engineer and retired as Vice President of Operations.

He was a historian and an avid outdoorsman. He has been a Rotarian since 1957 and a past President of the Westtown-Goshen Rotary club. He was an active church member and Stephen minister.

Louis is survived by his wife of almost 41 years Hanne (Skov), and children Louis, Robin, Dawn (Tom), Peter (Ingrid), Bruce (Lori) and seven grandchildren; Thomas, Alex, Cassie, Haley, Sidney, Cade and Bridget. A church service is planned for Fri, May 31st at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 10 W. Pleasant Grove Rd. , West Chester, Pa.

Viewing 10am, Service 11am. A second service will be held at the Sunset Chapel, 6245 Columbia Rd, North Olmsted, Oh on Monday, June 3. Viewing 2pm, Service 3 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
