Eric Rasharad Gilmore was born on November 26, 1982, and passed away on September 30, 2018, at the age of 35. Funeral services for Mr. Gilmore will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at St. Paul Baptist Church Inc., 501 N. 9th Street, Leesville, LA with Reverend L.C. Williams officiating. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at the church on Saturday.

He had just earned his CDL license and was working towards becoming an established truck driver. After working in landscaping for over four years, Eric had dreams of operating his own landscaping company. He loved kids, was always full of life, and had a one-of-a-kind personality.

Mr. Gilmore was preceded in death by his sister Tatterian Downing, grandmothers Betty Wesley and Fannie Ball, and grandfathers Frank Ball and Eddie Wesley. Left to cherish their memories of him are his sons Malachi Woods of DeRidder, LA; Eric Bynum of Leesville, LA; and Raheem Bynum of Leesville, LA Daughter: Kassidy Erica Gilmore of Lake Charles, LA Father: Garrette Ball Mother: Darlene Downing of Houston, TX Stepmother: Diana Ball Brothers: Henry Gilmore of Leesville, LA; J’Cobe Gilmore of Killeen, TX; Garrette Gains of Aliceville, AL; Tony Gains of Aliceville, AL; and Pierre Ball of Aliceville, AL Sisters: Lashanda Gilmore of Killeen, TX and Ashley Downing of Killeen, TX and a host of extended family and friends.
