OBITUARY Eric Stephensen Babcock March 21, 1978 – October 16, 2018 Our loving son and brother Eric, 40, passed away suddenly at his home in Holly Springs, NC on October 16,2018. Eric was born in Ithaca, NY where he grew up with his sister amongst a large, tightknit family. In his early 20s, Eric moved to NC to be closer to his sister, brother and mother.

He received his diploma through online courses and continued to take online courses throughout his life to further his education. Eric developed a passion in life for comics and other fantasy related media that he turned into a small, home based business buying and selling collectibles online. He was a huge fan of anything Star Wars, DC, Transformers or Marvel related, enjoying not only the movies, but the comics, novels, graphic novels and collectibles as well.

He was a gentle, funny, kind man that enjoyed the simple things in life, a well done comic adaptation movie and being around his family. He is survived by his mother Sandra Adams and husband Paul, father Bruce Babcock, sister Melissa Waters and husband Joshua, brother Matthew Adams and wife Jessica, his nieces and nephews Ashley, Connor, Dylan, Evangeline, Lazarus and Lennon and grand-nephew Daymian. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Owen and Betty Babcock and Harold and Lois Mikkelsen.
