Erika Magdalena Rehner, age 86, of Brunswick, OH passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 9, 2019. She was born March 30, 1932 in Obernbreit, Germany, daughter of the late Johan and Margaret Hupp. Erika enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading and gardening and loved her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed. Devoted wife of 62 years to the late Michael Rehner; cherished mother of Ralph (Carolyn) Rehner, Heidi (Randy) Trace, and the late Peter (the late Marlene) Rehner; beloved grandmother of Steven (Jolie) Rehner, Gary (Sarah) Rehner, Holly (Mark) Moster, Nina (Matt) Palmer, and Julie Trace; loving great grandmother of Justin Rehner, Gabriella Rehner, Libby Rehner, and Arya Moster; caring sister of the late Wilhelm “Willi” (Inge) Hupp. A special thanks to the staff at Plum Creek Assisted Living for their care and compassion through this difficult time.

Memorial service will take place at a later date. Memorial contributions in Erika’s name are suggested to Compassionate Care Hospice, 300 N Cleveland Massillon Rd. , Akron, OH 44333.
