Erle Lynne Jones, 70, of Kremmling, CO passed away Jan 24th, 2019, at her home, surrounded by her family. Erle Lynne was born in Steamboat Springs, CO March 20th, 1948 to Delvin and Frances Gneiser. She was the oldest of three children and grew up in Phippsburg, CO.

Growing up she enjoyed time at the ranch with her dad tending to the animals and haying in the fall. She attended Phippsburg Community Baptist Church and made the decision to follow Christ while attending Mt. Elim Bible Camp.

She attended school in South Routt County followed by attaining her Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education with majors in Biology and History from Western State College, receiving the Beta Beta Beta Outstanding Senior in Biology Award. On June 11th, 1972, she married Darold Jones, of Toponas, CO. The couple moved to Kremmling where they raised their four children.

While raising her family she enjoyed attending her children’s school activities and was involved in Christian Women’s Club, weekly Bible studies and taught Sunday School and 4-H. When her children had all started school, she became the Librarian of West Grand Elementary and later West Grand High School, retiring in 2010. Her greatest passions were Jesus and her family.

She loved hosting and attending family gatherings and traveling with Darold on many day trips. She loved her community and spending time with her closest friends. Her free time was spent attending church, baking, walking, reading, stamping and making cards for those she loved.

She is survived by her husband Darold Jones of Kremmling, children Mark Jones of Laramie, WY, Ryan (Jennyfer) Jones of Kremmling, Kendra (Zane) Lay and their children Makaeli, Holden and Ellis of Grand Jct, Cody (Michelle) Jones and their children Windom and Adelyn of Fruita, Mother, Frances Gneiser of Kremmling, Brothers, Pat (Marrianne) Gneiser of Loveland, and Kevin Gneiser of Phippsburg. She is proceeded in death by her father, Delvin. A Memorial Service will be held at West Grand High School in Kremmling, CO on Friday Feb 1st at 2 pm with a public burial at Yampa Cemetery in Yampa, CO on Saturday Feb 2nd at 11 am.
