OBITUARY Erna Lea MURPHY November 26, 1925 – January 6, 2019 ERNA LEA MURPHY Erna Lea Murphy, 93, passed away January 6, 2019, at Centerpoint Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on November 26, 1925, at Longview Farm in Lee’s Summit, the daughter of George and Minah Hartmann. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister, and her husband of 50 years, Lewis.

She is survived by a son Paul (Beverly); two grandsons, Mike (Krista), and Andrew (Samantha), and one great granddaughter Ashlynn. She was retired from the federal government, and was an active member of the Lee’s Summit Christian Church, Eastern Star, American Legion Auxilary, Ararat Ladies without Nobles, and numerous other social organizations. Funeral Services will be held at Floral Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, January 10, 2019, at 12:00 PM with visitation one hour prior.

She loved her family and friends and will be sorely missed.
