OBITUARY Louis Lynn Roberts September 15, 1946 – January 3, 2019 Louis L. Roberts, 72, of Kansas City, MO passed away at Research Medical Center on January 3, 2019 after a long fight with cancer. Funeral Service at 12pm noon on Tuesday, January 8th with visitation one hour prior at the McGilley & Sheil Chapel. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Cemetery.

Louis was born on September 15, 1946 in Acushnet, MA to Marvin and Anna (Colangelo) Roberts. He attended New Bedford High School and married the love of his life, June Ann Lancaster on November 4, 1967. Together they raised their four daughters, Jennifer Wayman, Julie Roberts, Melissa Roberts and Susan Roberts.

Louis served two tours of duty in the United States Air Force during Vietnam. After his military service he began his Plumbing career and retired at the age of 62 in 2008. In his free time he loved traveling, gambling and eating out at Bass Pro & Carrabba’s.

Louis was preceded in death by his wife, June in 2016 and will now join her in Heaven. He is survived by his sisters, Lee Forand (Oscar), Betty Brosseau (Bob) & Debbie Johnson and a brother, Jim Roberts. He is also survived by his four daughters; 9 grandchildren: Hunter Roberts, Anthony Roberts, Michael Guthridge, Andrew Roberts, Tyler Colbert, Kaitlyn Guthridge, Emily Guthridge, Jordan Hill & Lisa Hill and one great grandchild, Andrew Roberts, Jr. Memorial contributions may be made to the Bishop Sullivan Center, 6435 E. Truman Rd.
