Obituary Ernest “Chuck” Charles Smith, 68, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Wednesday morning, February 6, 2019 at his home after a lengthy illness. Chuck was born on July 2, 1950 in Sandusky, OH to Ernest Cecil and Elizabeth Margaret (Claubaugh) Smith. Chuck graduated from Sandusky High School in 1968.

He began his career at Sandusky Motors as a mechanic and worked his way up to parts manager. He worked at several area dealerships and was currently employed at Kasper Toyota.
