Laura J. Brown, 90, of Monroeville passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 21, 2019 in The Willows at Bellevue. She was born May 28, 1928 in Monroeville to Wesley and Ruth (Wiley) Davis. She attended Monroeville Schools.

She retired in 1983 from New Departure Hyatt where she worked as a machine operator. Laura was a member of the Congregational Community United Church of Christ, Monroeville and Sandusky Eagles. Her hobbies included crocheting, reading, and going to casinos.

She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul R. Brown whom she married in 1944; one daughter, Bonnie Norman; and her parents. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 25, 2019 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville.

Rev. Dr. Wayne Chasney will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
