AURIEMMA, Jr., Ernest J., 53, passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Kent Hospital. Born in Warwick RI , he is the son of Grace Mary (McDevitt) Auriemma and the late Ernest J. Auriemma. He was passionate about his children and his family members.

He was a football fanatic for his son’s and the West Warwick Steelers and attended many of the Wizards games. He was a HVAC service tech for over 30 years. Worked for several companies throughout his years.

He is survived by his children, Zachary Auriemma of West Warwick, Greg Carcieri of Cumberland and Ashley Ohneck; a step-son, Joshua Bertrand of CT; two sisters, Rose Chaffe of Coventry and Janet Cary of West Warwick, 7 grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was the step-father of the late Kenneth St. Germain and brother of the late John Auriemma. He was the former husband of Doreen M. (Bertrand) Auriemma Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the IANNOTTI Funeral Home, 415 Washington St. (Rte.

117), Coventry, with a Funeral Service to follow at 8:00 pm. Burial will be private for the family.
