Sinton – Ernest Ramirez passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on February 27, 2019. He was 78. Ernest was born in Pawnee, Texas on October 3, 1940 to Augustina (Perez) and Jesus Ramirez.

Ernest was a construction worker formerly employed by HNS Contractors. He was a resident of St. Paul, Texas for more than 50 years. Preceding in death are his grandson: Christian Ramirez; parents: Jesus and Augustina Ramirez; and sister: Emma Castillo.

Survivors include his wife: Maria Alicia Ramirez; sons: Rigoverto Ramirez (Teresa); Santiago Ramirez; Noe Ramirez, all of St. Paul, Texas; Benjamin Ramirez of Corpus Christi, Texas; daughters: Naomi Ramirez and Mary Elena Ramirez, both of St. Paul, Texas; grandchildren: Isaiah Cory Ramirez (Kristen) and Brittany Ramirez; step-granddaughter: Esmi Linda Lara; great-grandchildren: Ava Ramirez; Kaiden Ramirez and Elizabeth Hinojosa; step-great-granddaughter: Jessalyn Bray; brother: Ruben Ramirez (Maria) of St. Paul, Texas; sisters: Julia Lozano (Cipriano) of Levelland, Texas; Santos Soliz and Rosa DeLeon (Joe), all of St. Paul, Texas. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 3, 2019, 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue through Monday, March 4, 2019, beginning at 10:00 AM.

A prayer service will the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be Tuesday, March 5, 2019, 2:00 PM at the John J. Welder Memorial Cemetery in St. Paul. Guestbook and video available online at www.
