Ervin “Joe” Battiest, 66, of Eagletown, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Paris Regional Medical Center in Paris, Texas. Joe was born on January 6, 1952, to the late Cliff Clark and Ida Bea Winship Clark in Panki Bok, Oklahoma. Joe enjoyed camping, hanging out with his friends and family, listening to music, and playing with his grandchildren.

Joe was also affiliated with the Pentecostal Church. Joe had many friends and will be missed by all those who knew him. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Cliff and Ida Bea Clark, and granddaughter; Melissa Vinson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, long-time friend and companion; Rebecca Hill, grandchildren; Tonya Vinson of Eagletown, Oklahoma, Tyler Vinson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Andrew Vinson of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Charles Vinson of Paris, Arkansas, Karen Downs, and Timothy and Stephen Young of Eagletown, Oklahoma, sister; Daisy Simmons of Eagletown, Oklahoma, niece; Susan Shelton, nephews, Ronnie Steel, Donnie Steel, and Robert Steel, and many other family and friends. A visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Bunch-Singleton Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 2:30 PM at the Eagletown School Gymnasium in Eagletown, Oklahoma with Bro Robert Stuart officiating.

Interment will follow at Eagletown Cemetery in Eagletown, Oklahoma.
