Esivi Lomitau Pau’u, 65, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Hunter Hollow in West Valley City, Utah. He was born on June 15, 1953 in Vaini, Tonga, to Siosefa Tua Pau’u and Ane Lisi Kaufusi. He was raised by Semisi Kioa Alatini and Losaline Tu’akakala Sika.

He married Laura Tanner in West Valley City, Utah on February 3, 1978. Esivi is survived by his wife Laura, children, Jennifer (Erickson Lulualii), Debra (Savaliga Laloulu), James – Misi (Mindi), Stacey, Zac and 14 grandchildren, Deisia, Kioa, Joseph Jr., Brenden, Liliana, James, Malani, Anelisi, Esivi Jr, Robert Jr, Payton, Preston, Randall and Alana. Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, unlcles & cousins.

Preceded in death by both sets of parents, daughter Sipinga and grandson JJ. Esivi loved the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, camping & hiking.

One of his favorite things to do in the winter was to load our children and all the nieces and nephews in the truck and go tubing at City Park. He spend many years doing aerial cable work, mechanic work, concrete work, tree trimming etc. Services will be held Friday, March 29, 2019.

Viewing & family service at 10am at 3325 S 4440 W & bishop service immediately following. Interment at Valley View Memorial Park, 4335 W 4100 S West Valley City, Utah.
