BEEVILLE – Esmeralda C. Gonzales, 87, of Beeville, died on June 8, 2018. She was born on Nov. 27, 1930 at La Para Ranch in Bee County, Tx to Guadalupe and Elvira (Riojas) Castillo.

She married Guadalupe Gonzales on May 17, 1952. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and four brothers. She is survived by one son, Joe (Sally) Gonzales of Beeville; three daughters, Terri Gonzales (John) Philp and Mary Valdez both of Beeville, Tx and Rosa (Robert) Bustamante of Madisonville, Tx; two sisters, Delia (Florencio) Guzman of Milton, LA and Elena (Robert) Lerma of Navasota, Tx; one brother, Mario (Tonia) Castillo of Sarita, Tx.

She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 3-9pm on Sunday, June 10, at Oak Park Memorial Funeral Chapel. A rosary will be recited at 7pm.

The body of Mrs. Gonzales will lie in state at 9am on Monday, June 11, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am with Fr. Lukose Thirunelliparambil officiating.

Interment will follow at Our Lady of Victory Cemetery #2. Serving as pallbearers are Aaron Gonzales, JoJo Gonzales, Justin Trevino, Jasper Trevino, Nathan Trevino and Buddy Bustamante. Honorary pallbearers are Nancy Trevino, Roxanne Adams, Trisha Trevino and Vanessa Valdez.
