Obituary for Estela Tueme de Castilleja McAllen, Texas Estela Tueme de Castilleja entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 11,2018 at the Comfort House in McAllen. She was 95 years old. Estela was born on Sept.

20, 1923 in Mexico to Elias and Carmelita Tueme. Estela was a resident of McAllen for most of her life. She owned and operated Floreria Estella in Reynosa,Mexico for many years.

Estela along with her husband Juan Pablo, owned and operated the Matador Motor Inn in McAllen since 1976. Estela was a very social person. She enjoyed traveling, and playing bowling among other things.

Estela truly enjoyed life to its fullest. Estela was preceded in death by her parents,her husband Juan Pablo, her siblings-Juan,Jorge,Ofelia,Luis Tueme. Left to cherish her memory is her son Gabriel (Lucia) Castilleja; grandchildren Juan Pablo Castilleja II and Gabriel Castilleja Jr. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 and Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with rosary being recited both evenings at 7:00 PM.

Funeral service will be on Monday,October 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Cemetery in McAllen. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Estela Tueme de Castilleja please visit our Sympathy Store.
