Obituary for Estella L. Schacht Estella L. Schacht, 95, of Anderson, passed away December 5, 2018 at Community Hospital Anderson. She was born on September 5, 1923 in Anderson, Indiana. She was a baker, cake decorator at Matthews, and later in life worked for Anderson Community Schools as a substitute.

She was a member of Gospel Light Chapel. She enjoyed journal writing, crafts, coloring, spending time with friends at Silver Birch and with her family. Estella is survived by her children, William E. (Feroza) Schacht, Sandra (Dallace) Hazelbaker, Vicki Sidwell, great-granddaughter, Tara (Levi) Albea; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

She was especially close to great-great-grandchildren, Hylah, Howie, and Ruby Albea and Madison Gray. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis A. Schacht, sons, Jerry A. Schacht, Mike Schacht; parents, Charles and Lova (Wright) Brockman. Visitation will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 West 53rd St. Anderson, IN.

Services will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Alexandria I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
