WARRENSVILLE HTS. Esther A. Soika, 94 years of age, passed away Saturday November 3, 2018 at Twinsburg, Ohio. Born in Cleveland, Ohio on November 8, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Benesics) Mitchell.

A resident of Warrensville Hts. Since 1951, she was a longtime active member of St. Henry’s Catholic Church in Cleveland. Mrs. Soika enjoyed ceramics, knitting, crocheting, cake decorating, making clothes and was very talented in making stained glass lamps.

In 1951, she married her husband Stanley Soika who preceded her in death in 1996. Also preceding was her daughter Anastasia Soika, and her sisters Helen Mitchell and Betty Butina. She is survived by her daughters Shirley (John Schwenk) Soika of Florida, Georgian (Bill) Fetsko of Garrettsville and Stella (Tony) Montisano of Georgia, and 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

No calling hours or services. Final resting place will be at The Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman, Ohio. Arrangements are by the Green Family Funeral Home & Crematory Service in Mantua where condolences and memories may be viewed at www.
