Obituary for Esther E. Fester Esther E. Fester, 90, of Greeley, passed away May 9, 2018 at Fairacres. Esther was born in Holly, CO to Adam and Eve (Berndt) Behm on August 28, 1927. She was one of fourteen children.
She married Gerald Fester August 18, 1958 in Loveland, CO. Esther attended school in Holly, Windsor and Johnstown, later making Greeley her home. She worked at Mountain Bell until the birth of Brenda and was a housewife and childcare provider for over thirty years.
She was a member of His Place Christian Church. She loved to garden, fish, play cards and above all, to spoil her grand babies. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Marc) Scheller; grandchild, Michael (Kristen) Scheller; and great grandchildren, Maddix and Aubree Scheller, brother, John Behm and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald Fester, siblings, Molly Settles, Jake Behm, Adam Behm, Henry Behm, Eva Surpise, Pauline Reitz, Palma Faria, Mary Seelye, Alex Behm, Emma Davis, Adam Behm, John Behm and step-son, Howard Leroy Fester. Visitation will be from 5-7 P.M. Monday, May 14, 2018 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel. Service will be at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday May 15, 2018 at the Allnutt Macy Chapel with a reception following the interment at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
