Obituary for Rick Childs Rick Childs was born in Ogden, UT. , on Oct. 30, 1953 and died on Apr.

22, 2018 in his home, Ft. Collins, CO. , very peacefully and with family.

Rick was 64 yrs. He had battled a prolonged illness. Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Rick lived a great life. In his younger years he enjoyed water skiing, camping, hunting and golf with his family. He loved camping at Horsetooth Resv’r in Fort Collins CO.

, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy, golfing , watching all sports; from local high school, college to professional – he was well informed; attending his grandchildren’s sports activities while he was able to; spending time with family, and of course “His” Broncos. Rick was preceded in death by his father-Iver Childs, his mother- Barbara Soloman, his older sister-Kathy (KT) Talmadge and his grandparents. Rick is survived by his wife, Candy Childs, son-Shawn Childs, daughters: Nicci Chismar, Stefanie Hussain (A.C.), brother-Blair Childs, niece-Lisa Allen (Patrick & sons- Trevor & Zachary), uncle: Val Reynolds (Lea), aunt: Joanne Downs (Billy), and numerous cousins.

Rick treasured his friendships that he had made while working in the RV Industry, along with all of his friends and family, especially his 4-legged little furry fur ball and “Buddy”- Chewy. So, when you think of Rick, please raise a glass to him and wish him well and safe travels. Rick was a Wonderful Person and will be Missed Always!
