Obituary for Ethel M Case Utica – Ethel M. Case, 74, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Ethel was born on November 15, 1944, in Oriskany Falls, the daughter of Roy and Emilie (Pardi) Ausman. Ethel was a graduate of VVS Central School.

On March 2, 1963, she married Douglas Case, Sr., a union of 36 years prior to his death in 1999. Ethel was a Mental Hygiene Therapy Aide at Utica Psychiatric Center. She is survived by her children, Douglas and Maryann Case and Dawn Case, Utica; grandchildren, Michael (Brianne), Emilie (John), Joseph, Brandon, Jacob, David, Lucas, Alexander, Christopher, Elijah, and Sophia and great-grandson, Michael Grant.

In keeping with Ethel’s wishes, there will be no services. The Case family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Dialysis Unit of Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare and Kunkel Ambulance for the care and compassion shown to Ethel.
