Winsted: Ethel M. Albanesius, 91, passed away on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Stanley Albanesius who died in 2008. Born on January 23, 1928, in Westfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Ethel (Bowen) Egbert.

She had spent several years as an elementary school teacher before settling in Winsted, in 1976. Her survivors include a son, Glenn Albanesius and his wife Robin of Winchester Center and three grandchildren, Jeffrey, Caitlin and Brian Albanesius. She was predeceased by a son, Paul Albanesius.

Private funeral services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
