Eugene D. Rice Jr., 69, of Liberty Twp. , passed away February 10, 2019, at Liberty Health Care Center. Eugene was born March 28, 1949, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of Eugene and Grace (Stamp) Rice Sr

He was a proud Liberty Township Firefighter for 29 dedicated years, retiring in 2002. Eugene was a former member of the Allied Forces Car Club and loved attending many car shows. Gene loved riding his Harley and if he wasn’t watching basketball or football, you would find him partaking in his passion for attending auctions.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his two sons, Eugene Rice II (Michael Anne), of Cumming, Georgia, and Jeffrey Rice (Mary Lou), of Cumming, Georgia and their mother, Mary Meehan, of Cumming, Georgia. His beloved nieces and nephews; Denise Moamis/Leone (Jim), children; Dominic, Christina, Amanda, Jimmy. George Moamis (Missy), children; Michael, Matthew, Kevin.

David Moamis (Donna) children; Kayla, David, Nick Moamis (Andrea) children; Nicholas, Adam, all of Liberty Township, Ohio. Erica, Kurt, Courtney and Nicole from Warren, Ohio and many cousins. Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Delores Lee Moamis, Donna Rice, and Shirley Mackey, his aunt Hattie Rice.
