OBITUARY Eugene “Gene” Edward Schock September 26, 1941 – August 1, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Eugene Edward “Gene” Schock, 76, of Miamisburg, passed away Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg. He was born September 26, 1941 in Dayton, the son of Edward and Thelma (Etienne) Schock. Gene was a 1960 graduate of Chaminade High School.

Following high school, Gene served his country in the United States Air Force where he spent time serving in Korea and Greece. Gene worked for AT&T and retired in 1994 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 165 and was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Gene is survived by his wife of 37 years, Kay Schock; brothers, George Schock and Edward (Donna) Schock; sister, Anita Schock; sister-in-law, Millie Schock; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Ronald Schock.
