Eugene John Burrill of Palmyra, known to family and friends as “Gene”, passed away on July 21, 2018, at the age of 63 years. Gene was born on April 13, 1955, to John and Donna (Kienow) Burrill. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, barbeques, and the various Palmyra Panther Youth Group sporting events.

Gene loved to spend time with his dog “Steele”, family, especially his grandchildren, and friends. Gene is survived by his children, Joyelle (Harlam) Sewell, Johanna Burrill, and Jonathon Burrill all of Milwaukee; nephew, niece, and caregivers Freddy (Jessica) Burrill of Palmyra; grandchildren, Salessa (Paris), Brittannie, Anthony, Harlam Jr., Samquwann, Antenesia, Jordan, Jonnai, Demarion, and Miles; great-grandchildren, Breon, Kiariyon, Paris Jr., Jea`Niariya, Zaharee, Jayce, Samiyah, Jael, and Harmoni; Brother, Christopher (Mary) Burrill of Caladonia. Gene is further survived by other relatives and friends.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ki`monte, brother, William. A celebration of Gene’s life will be held at a later date.
