Eva Schubert passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends on December 24th, 2018. Her memory will forever be in the hearts of her sister Anita and niece Petra (Abdi) in Germany, her adopted Canadian family Rosemarie (Eric), Helga, Roland (Ken), Eric (Aimee) and so many friends whose lives she has been a part of over the years. Her incredible life journey started in the Czech Republic.

She became a nurse working in Germany, Switzerland, Canada and South Africa before settling in California for the past 49 years. She was a world traveler exploring all the continents, her favorite being Africa. Throughout her lifetime she touched the lives of so many people and was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Please join us in celebrating God’s gift of Eva to us on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at 2 pm at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 1092 Alberta Way, Concord, CA 94598.
