Obituary for Ms. Evelyn Andrus Ms. Evelyn Andrus Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Opelousas, LA, for Ms. Evelyn Andrus, 85, who entered eternal rest, Monday, April 23, 2018 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Opelousas. Interment will be in Myrtle Grove Cemetery.

Rev. Brian Alfred will officiate at the services. Ms. Andrus is survived by her children, Reginald Andrus (Debra) of Hillsborough, NC and Marvin Andrus (Laura) of Opelousas, LA; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Ms. Andrus was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Andrus, Sr.; parents, Samuel Richardson, Sr. & Clemounce Broussard Richardson; three children, Donald Lawson, Ronald Richardson and Roy Andrus, Jr.; two brothers, Samuel Richardson, Jr. and Warren Richardson and a sister, Ruby Lee Lewis. Visiting hours will be observed from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, April 28, 2018 at Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
