Obituary for Evelyn Barbere Evelyn Barbere passed away on June 5th 2018 after a year long battle with congestive heart failure. Born April 18, 1936, Evelyn was a beautiful soul that touched many lives. Evelyn leaves behind a loving daughter, Paulette Rainbolt, son John Chataney, two grandsons, whom she loved dearly, Joseph Rainbolt and Paul Rainbolt, his wife Chyanne, and two beautiful great-grandchildren, Aria Rainbolt and Aiden Rainbolt.

She also leaves her brother, James Philip, sisters, Nancy Rosato and Patty Contreras, sisters in-law, Linda Philip, and Dolly Tello, brothers in-law, Pete Rosato, Felix Contreras, David Barbere, Walter Barbere, Thomas Barbere and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Barbere, her daughter Linda Gabster and her son Joseph Barbere. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 13th at 10:00 am at Welch-Ryce-Haider Funeral Home, 450 Ward Drive, Goleta with a graveside service following at 12:00 pm at Goleta Cemetery.
