Falmouth-Evelyn M.Abiera, 60, passed away peacefully at home Saturday, September 15, 2018. She was born March 3, 1958, the daughter of Albert Brackett and Betty-Lou (Desrosiers) McCullough. She was born in Portland, ME and grew up in Baldwin, ME.

, before relocating back to Southern Maine. She had 3 sons Michael, Gregg, and Jason. Evelyn was a genuine and gifted person.

She was a part of everyone’s life that she encountered since starting her career becoming a C.N.A. She excelled at becoming everyone’s best friend whether it was a co-worker or resident. Evelyn worked around many nursing homes in Southern Maine before settling down with South Portland Nursing Home.

Her favorite things to do in her free time were to be with friends and family. She loved the beach, her children, grandchildren, and grand pets very much. Anytime you needed her she was always there for you”.

Lynn” as many knew her as had a very “raw” sense of humor. From her quirky outbursts to downright “This is who I am ! ” attitude.

She will be sadly missed by many and forever in all our hearts. Evelyn is survived by her sons: Michael S. Brackett, Jason A.Nguyen and wife Melissa A.Nguyen. Sister: Patricia Archibald, grandchildren: Nicholas M. Brackett, Sean D. Batchelder, Keegan H.Brown, Cameron T. Reynolds, Arianna N.Nguyen, and Blake A.Nguyen and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephew, and nieces.

She is predeceased by her mother Betty-Lou McCullough, and her son Gregg A.Brackett. A funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Brooklawn Memorial Park following the service.
