Obituary for Evelyn Brooks (Skaggs) Evelyn Brooks of St. Genevieve, Missouri formerly of Cadet, Missouri passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the age of ninety-two. She was born on January 17, 1926 a daughter to the late Marion Skaggs and the late Rosie (Cain) Skaggs. Beloved wife of the late Buford Stricklin Survivors include: Four Children: Robert (Pat) Rulo Essie Stricklin Gator Brooks Anita (Gene) Bishop eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
