Obituary for Rose Boyster (Callahan) Rose Mary Boyster of Potosi, Missouri passed away on October 20, 2018 at NHC Healthcare having reached seventy-two years of age. Rose was born on January 18, 1946 in Mineral Point, Missouri, a daughter to the late Perry Callahan and the late Frances (Nettles) Callahan. On January 1, 1968, Rose was united in marriage to William “Bill” Boyster and they shared forty six years together.

Rose will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her son, Ken (Jan) Boyster; daughter, Kimberly (David) Yates; sister, Anna (Robert) Dicus; seven grandchildren: Courtney (Derek) Boyer, Coty Boyster, Ashton Boyster, Martia Boyster, Jason Hartzell, Brandon (Angel) Compton, and Mackenzie Compton; two great-grandchildren: Maddison Boyer and Paxton Trupka; and in-laws: Donald Pashia and Edward Fowler. In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her beloved husband William “Bill” Boyster; and siblings: Iva Pasha, Alice Fowler, Marlene Laws, and Larry Callahan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, held at DeClue Funeral Home.

Visitation will resume on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, beginning at 9:00 AM. A funeral service for Rose will begin at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 24, 2018, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Mike Barton officiating. Interment and final prayers will be held at Hopewell Cemetery.
