Thomas, Evelyn Jones, 93, of Birmingham, AL, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Public visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 4 pm – 6 pm at Dante Jelks Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 12 noon at Forty-fifth Street Baptist Church (7600 Division Avenue) with interment in Zion Memorial Gardens.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Eugene, and her son, Eugene, Jr She leaves to cherish her memories – five children – Maria (Foster) McClain, James (Lisa) Thomas, Charles (Tamra) Thomas, Theresa Thomas Barnes, and Michael (Barbara) Thomas; eighteen grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and countless other relatives and friends.
