LITTLE FALLS – Evelyn M. Noonan, 86 of Burt Road, Little Falls, NY passed away Sunday, March 3, 2019 at the Alpine Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Little Falls. She was born on November 9, 1932. in the Town of German Flatts, NY the daughter of the late LeRoy and Katherine (Herringshaw) Daley.

She was a graduate of Little Falls High School Class of 1951. On May 9, 1953 she was united in marriage to her husband of 66 years Eugene J. Noonan at St. Mary’s Church, Little Falls. Mrs. Noonan was employed for 30 years as a Customer Service Representative for the former P&C Food Markets, at their stores in Little Falls, Dolgeville and Ilion.

She was a very family oriented person, spending a lot of time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, especially enjoying the many sports activities that her grandchildren and great grandchildren were involved in. Birdwatching and feeding was one of her favorite pastimes, as well as being a an avid reader. She enjoyed many years of ceramic classes, both in Dolgeville and Mohawk.

She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and compassion for others. She is survived by her husband Eugene, her sons, M/Sgt. Eugene D. Noonan, USAF (Ret) and his companion Kay Kepper, Biloxi, MS and Kenneth J. Noonan and his wife Teddi, Little Falls, her daughter Joyce Walerstein and her husband Scott, Utica, and her brother LeRoy Daley and his wife Jacqueline, Mohawk; six grandchildren Kathryn Baillie and husband Brian, Travis Noonan, Trevor Noonan and companion Tacy Jones, Kali Noonan, Megan Chapman and companion Randy McCaw, Glenn Chapman and companion Tera Som.

three step grandchildren Marc, Aaron and Rachel Walerstein; four great grandchildren Ethan McCaw, Mitchell, Emelyn and Quinn Baillie and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Edward Daley, Robert Daley and Gerald Daley. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 11:00 am from the Holy Family Parish Church, Cor.

Main & John St.’s, Little Falls where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Terence Healy. Interment will take place in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Town of Herkimer.

The family will gather privately to say their goodbyes to their beloved wife, mother and grandmother. Arrangements are by the Chapman-Moser Funeral Home, Inc., 42 N. Ann Street, Little Falls, NY. It is the wish of the family that contributions in memory of Mrs. Noonan be considered to the Holy Family Parish Church, 763 E. Main St., Little Falls, NY 13365.
