Obituary for Evelyn Smith Billingsley FORT WORTH – Evelyn Smith Billingsley, 95, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018. Eve was born in Doe Run, Missouri on July 2, 1923, to James Daniel and Cora Ellen Smith. She worked her entire career and retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone Company.

Eve married Samuel Ray Billingsley Feb. 20, 1955 and they enjoyed 60 years together traveling across the country and around the world. She also enjoyed hosting dinner parties, music and was an active volunteer with Baylor All Saints for over 35 years.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel R. Billingsley; and sisters, Leora Fern Thuneman and Cora Lorraine Reskevich. Survivors: Sister, Drusilla Gentry; 10 nieces and nephews; and many other loving family members and friends.
