Obituary of Evelyn Van Buren Evelyn Elizabeth Van Buren (nee Forsythe), of Waukesha, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at the age of 100. Evelyn was born in Ashippun, WI on April 8, 1918 to Eugene and Mary (nee Naylor) Forsythe. After her birth, her family moved to Hartland, WI where she was raised and graduated from Hartland High School.

On September 13, 1940, she married Allen “Rip” Van Buren. Evelyn received her nursing degree from Columbia School of Nursing and worked for Waukesha Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse for 40 years and was a member of the WMH 25 year club. Evelyn was a charter member of the NACOG and a member of First Congregational Church and the CCGW sewing group.

Evelyn will be deeply missed by her children, Terry (Joyce) and Michael (Pat); grandchildren, Jennifer Van Buren, Maggie Van Buren, Brian (Dawn) Van Buren, Todd Van Buren, and Tracey Van Buren; and great grandchildren, Marcus, Sean, Aarron, Natalie, and Abigail. The visitation for Evelyn will take place on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the 12:00 p.m. Noon funeral service at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd. Waukesha, WI 53188.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to the Waukesha County Museum, 101 W Main St, Waukesha, WI 53186.
