OBITUARY Farris M Polk March 20, 1932 – July 24, 2018 Farris Maloye Polk passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Mary Ann Gaspard Polk for over 35 years. Son of the late Owens Polk and Esther Smith Polk.

Loving father of Karen Polk, Daryl Polk and Bryan Polk and wife Elaine. Stepfather of Gary Gaspard and wife Joan of Ponchatoula, LA, Darryl Gaspard and wife Karen of Walker, LA and Deborah Bouterie and husband David of Hammond, LA. Proud grandfather of Leon, Dana, Scott, Darren, Ginger, Bryson and Marie.

Great grandfather of Mason, Elle and Liv. Also survived by 11 step grandchildren and 14 step great grandchildren. Farris was born on March 20, 1932 in New Orleans, LA.

He was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish and a current resident of Walker, LA. He was a United States Navy veteran and was honorably discharged after 4 years of service. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by his family and friends.
