Florence Pratt, 86, of Emmett, Idaho has gone to be with her Heavenly Father and missed loved ones. She passed Oct. 19, 2018 at Rivers Edge in Emmett.

Florence was born June 2, 1932 in Arkansas, the second child of Elvira Clark. She moved to Idaho at a young age, and spent most of her life here. She helped her mother raise her 4 brothers and 3 sisters.

She met and married the love of her life, Floyd Pratt, Feb. 24, 1959. She was a great wife and together they brought 3 boys and 1 girl into this world.

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she filled many callings and enjoyed working with others in those jobs. Her main job was raising children and being a support to her husband. Together they ran the Emmett Sanitary Landfill for 10 years.

The family spent time together hunting and camping and Florence loved going to the mountains. She raised many animals and loved time in her rose garden. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 34 years, and all her brothers.

She leaves behind 3 sisters, Gladys, Fay and Lamona; her children, Malcom Pratt, John (April) Pratt, Bryan “Bud” (Carolina) Pratt and her daughter Elmyra Pratt. She loved and cherished 8 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. A viewing will be held Friday, Nov.

2nd from 5pm to 7pm at the Potter Funeral Chapel. Her funeral will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints downtown building at 10:00 am on Saturday, Nov 3, 2018 with viewing available the hour prior. Services will be followed by burial at the Sweet Cemetery.
