Obituary for Florence Svetana Nissimov Florence Svetana Nissimov peacefully passed away Tuesday, December 4th. Born in Sofia, Bulgaria, March 4th, 1924, she lived 94 years and left an amazing legacy. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, she is survived by 6 children, Aliza Noy Eitan (Arie) of Tel Aviv, Israel, Joseph Nissimov of Jerusalem, Israel, Daniel Nessman, Ralph Nissimov (Sue) of Michigan, Ronen Nissimov (Natasha) of Texas, and Talli Flanagan (John) of Dublin, Ohio.

She was blessed to have 13 grandchildren, Ilan, Louie, Ben, Abby, Ethan, Erin, Johnny, Kelly, David, Tommy, Megan, Nathan and Matthew, and 2 Great Grandchildren, Daniela and Gur. She was a lover of travel and adventure, as evidenced by living in 4 countries, and speaking 5 languages. By profession she was an anesthesiologist, but by her family, she was a wonderful, sweet, giving woman.

She was full of class, charm, and beauty, and as her husband would say, “One in a Million”. A True Legacy. She will be greatly missed by those of us left on Earth, but we are so happy that she is able to see Dad again, and other departed loved ones, in Eternal Life.

Rest in Peace, sweet mom. Until we meet again, all our Love. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 10th at Woodyard Funeral Home, Bethel Road, Columbus.

Viewing/Visitation Hours will be held 10:30-1 pm, Service 1–2 pm, Procession to Green Lawn Cemetery, and then a Celebration of Life Reception at The Lakes at Bethel Park Party House.
