FLORENCE WAT LUM 96, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away January 25, 2019. She was born on June 4, 1922 in Honolulu to Man Sheong Wat and See Hou (Tong) Wat. She was a graduate of McKinley High School, Cannon’s Business College; Administrative Assistant at Social Security, Sav-Mor Drugs, Cinerama Hotel, Ala Moana Hotel, and the East-West Center at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

She was predeceased by spouse, Kenneth H. Lum, children, Newton Lum and Didi Ah Yo. Florence is survived by her loving family: children, Stanton (Nickie) Lum, Melissa(Joel “Joey”) Leong, Barnett (Eva) Lum and Preston (Tamara “Tammy”) Lum; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and brother, Herman (Virginia) Wat. Celebration of life for Florence will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 at the Community Church of Honolulu (2345 Nuuanu Avenue Honolulu, Hawaii 96817); visitation from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., with service to follow at 10:30 a.m. To send flowers to the family of Florence Wat Lum please visit our Sympathy Store.
