Floyd’s Obituary Floyd Drew, affectionately known as “Bubba”, met his Creator on Monday, May 27 at his home with family surrounding him. Floyd said what he meant and meant what he said. He loved to grill and have cookouts.

However, when it was time for company to leave, he’d always say, “I’m ready to see your tail lights”. He married Lynda Hale on June 4, 1966 and they were to celebrate 53 years of marriage this year. Floyd was a hard worker and started Drew Construction Company in 1974 and ran it until 2002 when he retired due to illness.

Floyd is survived by his beautiful bride, Lynda, and his three children known as the Triple T’s – Tracy (Milton), Travis (Carolyn), and Tiffany (Byron). He also has 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. While we will miss him greatly, we know he is no longer suffering.

There will be a Celebration of Life Visitation on Saturday, June 1st, 2019 from 5-8 p.m. at the North Georgia Worship Center in Wildwood, Georgia. In lieu of flowers, Lynda requests donations be made to Hospice of Chattanooga who provided end-of-life comfort care for Floyd.
