Fontaine Fotini Frangos Bairamis , July 31, 1954 — November 19, 2018

Fontaine “Fotini” (Frangos) Bairamis, 64 Campbell…Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church, with Rev. Steve Denas officiating, for Fontaine “Fotini” (Frangos) Bairamis, 64, who fell asleep peacefully in her home with her family by her side after a long, courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 19th.

Fontaine was born on July 31, 1954, in Youngstown, to the late Nickie (Pastrikos) and Nicholas Frangos. Fontaine was a 1972 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, a member of Archangel Michael Greek Orthodox Church and a lifelong resident of Campbell. She married the love of her life, John Bairamis, in 1974.

They had five beautiful daughters. Niki (Yianni) Koullias, Irene (Charlie) Pizanias, Maria (John) Belak, Georgene Bairamis and Melina Bairamis; and nine precious grandchildren, Fotini, Pantelis, Mihali, Fotini, Fotini, Yianni, Efimia, Sophia and Anna. Fontaine was the rock of her family.

She always put her family first. She made sure that every holiday was perfect with her decorations, her cooking, and her special touches. To her grandchildren, she was the fun Yiayia that had sleep overs, pool parties and shopping trips.

Fontaine also enjoyed traveling to Disney World and to the Beach with her family. Fontaine also leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sister Mary Frangos, of Youngstown, her nephew, more like a brother, Nick (Marylee) Frangos of Campbell, her many brothers and sisters in law; nieces; nephews; and godchildren, both here in the United States and in Greece. Fontaine is preceded in death by her parents, as well as her two older brothers, Larry (Lisa) Frangos and Manuel “Nick” (Diane) Frangos.

The family would like to thank all of the many family and friends who visited and supported them through Fontaine’s final days. The Bairamis family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive family and friends Monday, Nov. 26, 2018 from 4-7:00 at the funeral home and again on Tuesday, Nov.

27th from 9:30-10:00 a.m. at Archangel Michael Church in Campbell.
