Forrest L. White, 99, of LaHarpe, IL formerly of Plymouth, IL died at 10:15 pm Friday December 28, 2018 at the LaHarpe Davier Health Care Center in LaHarpe, IL. He was born on November 7, 1919 near LaPrairie, IL to Carl Nicholas and Jessie Mae Musick White. He married Mildred L. Harris on August 5, 1944 in LaPrairie, IL.

She preceded him in death on July 10, 2007. Forrest was a farmer for most of his life and also operated a cemetery mowing service for over 20 years in the later part of his working life. He was a graduate of LaPrairie High School and was a member of The Living Faith United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a daughter, Karen (Ed) Bartlet of Springfield, IL, 2 sons, Robert (Judy) White of Versailles, KY and James Eldon White of LaHarpe, IL, 5 grandchildren, Eric (Jaya) White of Brookfield, IL, Mark (Katherine) White of Midway, KY, James (Natalie) Grim of Springfield, IL, Kim Williams of Springfield, IL and Sherry (Jack) Kirby of Springfield, IL 5 great-grandchildren, a brother, Laurence White of LaPrairie, IL and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne White, a brother in infancy, Arnold White and 2 sisters, Inez Koehler and Mary Ann Anderson. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday January 3, 2019 at the Hamilton Funeral Home in Augusta, IL with Rev.

Sheri Renner officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn cemetery in Augusta, Visitation will be held from Noon until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the LaHarpe Davier Health Care Center in LaHarpe.
