Fran L. Wallace, 80, of Carlisle, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was born April 2, 1938 in Carlisle to the late Arthur and Isabelle (Graham) Wallace. Fran retired as a Produce Manager from Giant.

He attended the Shippensburg Independence Baptist Church. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family and working outside. He was passionate about his favorite teams, the Baltimore… Read More » Orioles, Minnesota Vikings and Boston Celtics.

In his spare time, he liked to watch old western movies and writing. However, his greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and grandchildren and his fur babies, Labrador Blackie and German Shepard Cujo. Fran is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Rogene (Baker) Wallace; one daughter, Cathy Kessler (husband Lewis) of Mt.

Holly; three sons, Butch (wife Carrie) of Carlisle, Randy of Mifflin County, and Terry of Carlisle; sister, Shirley Myers of Carlisle, eight grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Arthur T. and Harold S. Wallace. Funeral services will be at 12 noon on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Hoffman Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Ken Waggoner officiating.

Burial will follow at Westminster Cemetery. A viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. To sign the guestbook, please visit www.
