OBITUARY Frances “Cho Chi” Mary Bartilotta May 19, 1922 – October 29, 2018 Frances “Cho-Chi” (Pastore) Bartilotta, 96, of Skokie, Illinois, passed away on October 29, 2018, in Frisco, Texas, at the home of her daughter. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, on May 19, 1922, to Genaro Pastore and Mary (Briatta) Pastore. Frances lived a full life.

She married Frank in September of 1943 and enjoyed 62 beautiful years together traveling around the world, raising two children, and visiting their two grandchildren in Texas — watching their grandson play baseball and granddaughter dance. As they aged, they delighted in seeing two of their four great-grandchildren grow before Frank passed in 2005. She continued traveling to Texas and enjoyed holidays, birthdays, and vacations with all four great- grandchildren through the years.

Frances also worked 48 years at Marshall Field’s. She found great pride in her work and was recognized as a lifetime employee. Frances was an instant friend to everyone she met throughout life and will be missed by many.

Her granddaughter describes her as a true matriarch. She is known for being many things: a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandma, and great-grandma, not to mention, a wonderful cook, hostess, and comforter. Most importantly, she was a giver of unconditional LOVE.

She is survived by her daughter, Francine (Don) Ciulla of Frisco, Texas, and son, Frank, Jr. (Victoria) Bartilotta of Chicago, Illinois, grandson, Stephen (Andrea) Ciulla of Denton, Texas, granddaughter, Dianna (Will) Bacon of Frisco, Texas, and four great-grandchildren: Allie (Kendall) Kruger, Andrew Ciulla, Abigail Bacon, and Beau Bacon. Her love lives on in each of them. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Bartilotta, Sr., her parents, Genaro & Mary Pastore, and her siblings: Rose (Frank) Lato, Ralph (Elizabeth) Pastore, Elizabeth (Vincent) Santoro, Theresa (Ernest) Mategrano and Arthur (Kay) Pastore.
